« Certaines trajectoires se construisent sur le buzz. Celle d’Emeraldia se construit sur le fond. Une musicienne qui pense la musique comme une énergie, utilise le son comme une matière première, et voit le monde entier comme son instrument. »

Emeraldia, formerly Emeraldia Ayakashi: DJ, producer, sound designer, press and web writer.

Guitar at 9, piano at 11, rock, punk and gothic bands as a teenager; machines on stage from 1996, the decks from 1998.

Emeraldia plays hip-hop, electronic, feminist and LGBTQIA+ events: clubs, festivals, art galleries, private parties. Film excerpts and sampled speeches carry the story.

Founder of Support Your Local Girl Gang, a feminist, non-binary, queer and multidisciplinary media and collective launched in 2018 in Montpellier, whose label SYLGG Records releases her EPs.

Sets edited like films.
